Truespeed launch ultrafast Wi-Fi across the Rec
We’re delighted to announce a multi-year strategic partnership between Truespeed and Bath Rugby, the current PREM Champions. This partnership will see our ultrafast Wi-Fi coverage expand throughout the Rec, and the launch of The Truespeed Stand.
With the launch of this partnership, Truespeed and Bath Rugby will offer free Ultrafast Wi-Fi to Bath Rugby fans across all areas of The Rec, including The Truespeed Stand. With Bath Rugby’s enhanced full-fibre connectivity and the additional WiFi coverage from Truespeed, Bath Rugby fans can enjoy speeds of up to 300Mbps anywhere in The Rec. To deliver this experience, Bath Rugby and Truespeed have upgraded the connectivity to the stadium and installed a new wireless network to deliver seamless connectivity.
Early tests during a home fixture showed over 2,000 devices accessed the Wi-Fi and used over 290GB of data during the match, with Wi-Fi data speeds reaching over 300Mbps across different parts of the stadium.
