What are exit fees and how are they calculated?

When you cancel your Truespeed service during your minimum term, you need to give us 30 days notice unless you are exercising your statutory right to change your mind within 14 days or under our 30 day money back guarantee (our standard terms for details).

You will be liable to pay an early termination charge.

If you signed your agreement before 1st December 2024 the early termination charge fee will be calculated at 30% of your monthly bill multiplied by the number of months left on your Truespeed contract.

Here is what it might look like:

30% of £49.99 = £15.00

8 months left on your contract = 8 x £15.00

Early Termination fee = £120.00

If you signed your agreement on or after 1st December 2024 the early termination charge fee will be calculated at 70% of your monthly bill multiplied by the number of months left on your Truespeed contract.

Here is what it might look like:

70% of £49.99 = £34.99

8 months left on your contract = 8 x £34.99

Early Termination Charge fee= £279.92

If you cancel your contract partway through the month, our Customer Service Team will calculate the cost of any days left until your normal monthly invoice and confirm this, along with the cost of your early termination charge when you call.

Please note that you will also be charged your usual charges during the 30 day notice period during which the service will continue to be supplied.
